Do you have an interesting story about moving to Paris from another country? We’d love to feature you on Our Paris Stories.

Here’s how it works:

Fill out the submission form below (questions #1-8 will be shown on the blog). Aim for ~200 words per question. Try to tell your story and select a location illustrating you as a unique expat–example here.
Our team will email you to schedule your photo shoot.
Once your story is published, we will email you a selection of photos from the shoot for free.* Thank you in advance for your patience; given our many submissions, the wait time from story submitted to story published is ~2 months.

Recommend a photo shoot location to help us illustrate who you are. If you're a baker, let us photograph you in your kitchen; if you're a freelancer, suggest a cafe you often work at. Please indicate the exact address/meeting spot in Paris (sorry, not the suburbs).

3. What has been your favorite moment in Paris so far?

4. We know it's not all sunshine and Eiffel Tower views! Tell us about your most challenging experience as an expat.

5. How do you meet people in Paris? (please share specific links to meet-up groups, etc.)

6. What advice would you give to others wanting to move abroad? (please be more specific than "do it!" Any helpful resources like websites, books, or people? If you're on a non-tourist visa, can you describe how you got it?)

7. How do you deal with homesickness? (do you listen to or watch something, go to a particular restaurant/store/area in Paris, etc.?)

8. How can people continue following your story? (blog, instagram, twitter, etc.)

*Please keep in mind that Our Paris Stories is what we call a “passion project”. We devote many hours of our free time to keep this site running, so we cannot take additional requests to edit or send more pictures than the ones we show on the blog. Thank you for understanding!
